VMCH Launches $150 Million St. Francis Retirement Community in East Ivanhoe

VMCH has launched sales for St. Francis, a $150 million premium retirement living community in East Ivanhoe, with residences released to the broader market today following an exclusive VIP preview for focus group members on 6 August 2026.

A Premium Address Opposite Ivanhoe Park

Designed by Jackson Clements Burrows Architects, St. Francis will comprise 57 premium apartments on Lower Heidelberg Road, positioned opposite Ivanhoe Park. Two-bedroom, two-bedroom plus study, and three-bedroom residences, with residents gaining access to a swimming pool, gymnasium, cinema, library and entertainment hub, an extensive offering rarely found in this tightly held area.

Construction is expected to be completed in mid-2028.

Stonebank's Role

Stonebank is engaged by VMCH as Principals Representative for St. Francis, holding programme, cost, procurement and stakeholder management together for the full delivery.

Hacer Group has been appointed to undertake the project's early works, following its successful delivery of St. Clare, Kew.

Stonebank is also engaged as Clerk of Works, providing independent on-site quality inspection through construction. It's the same role we performed on St. Clare, where our inspections identified and resolved issues before completion.
